I bought a used black Hexar AF several months ago. I shot with it numerous times without any problems, it was then stored in my camera bag for a month. I pulled it out yesterday and turned it on - nothing. The LCD does not display anything. I tried changing the battery, cleaning the contacts on the camera and battery without success. The camera was not dropped, hasn't suffered water damage, etc. It just suddenly died.
Have any users out there ever experienced this? What might cause such a failure? I've heard that sometimes you can re-set or reboot the electronics in some cameras, anyone know the procedure?
I'm hoping to revive the Hexar as it was a great camera to shoot and I really miss using it. Any info would be helpful, thanks...
