I hope you're kidding! I can't stand Liverpool (FC) but even I think that was a game that will go down in history as one of the greatest!
 
I can't stand AC Milan, so don't really have any sour grapes for Liverpool winning the final, to be fair being a Juventus supporter I can't stand Liverpool either, so I couldn't care less of the result.
Only it looked to me that Milan did not play well in that game, and I put in my list of all time best matches only games in which both sides played great football, and the game was not over until it was over.

Together with Italy Germany 4-3 and Italy Brazil 3-2 the european championship final 2000 France-Italy 2-1 springs to mind, that was a really dramatic game.

It’s a pity a little over three hours time we will have to say goodbye to one great footballing nation!!

Don't worry Andy, I don't think anyone in Argentina will cry for you, or believe you ever loved it.

Argentina has indeed lost in this championship but saved its sportive honour. I don't feel frustrated as it lost to a worthy and mighty rival. This is sport, this is life. Not about winning or loosing but about fighting on your feet.

Italy and Germany met four times in the world cup, and Italy never lost, so I have to hope they don't start now.
