For the American members not to have mentioned it already, I can understand. For our many European and rest of the World members, I am not sure I can forgive.
The funny thing our USA members are missing, perhaps is not the Cup itself, but the politically correct peace promoting promo being attached to TV transmissions, showing all world regional fighting factions declaring cease fire on behalf of allowing all peoples around the globe to enjoy the games. What a shame my Israeli fellows see it on TV while heavily bombarding Gaza Strip. As for the Palestinian behaviour, it is up to them to speak their own.
Today at least our family had a relatively peaceful day. Take into account I was born in Argentina, while my wife in Brazil.
Relatively I said, because against all propaganda showing the women drama during the Mundial, my wife was by far more stressed than me to have all the necessary food equipment for the matches started today. On the other hand all my sons gathered at home in an explosive athmosphere of joy, culminating in a full hour of laughing and shouting at each other an at TV too, at the same time the first game was going on, and throwing at each other much of the table food and accesories.
I think I will propose new member Mike Goldberg, who is versatile in video shooting too, to make our own RFF documentary promo, about how we at the RFF keep peace during the World Cup. I am afraid it will not be "politically correct". Perhaps next Mundial.
Cheers,
Ruben
