Not until today did I notice there is a separate forum for CL here. Great!

I've been using M system for more than 10 years. For its compactness, just get a Leica Minolta CL and a 40mm Summicron-C for less than 2 months. Great camera to carry, and of course use.

Good shooting.

I just bought one I saw on craigslist; I am most excited about TTL metering, since a M6, being 10X the cost, is way out of my price range.

Congrudraltions to you. However, don't rely too much on the meter, which is a rather old one. Besides, using an external meter teaches you more on how you could master photography. One day you might even find out that you do not always need a meter. My 2%.

That's a little harsh. A CL meter in proper working order is as good as any other internal meter and better than many if used properly. "Modern" techno-whiz-super-multi-intagramatrixical metering doesn't make up for poor skills or judgment in exposure. However...recognize that CLs are all 30 years old or more, so many need some care at this point...like any other electromechanical item of that age.

Actually, I've been pretty much meterless for the past 2 years, but there are some instances where I would like to have a meter, especially since I shoot a lot of slide film. I was considering getting a VCII, but then I found a CL for less than the price of the VCII, and it's TTL. And I can still use it as a backup for my M3, even if the battery is dead.
However because of the metering I'll probably make it my color-film body; CL = Color Loaded :D
