Hi + Oly RD

Hi guys, im new to the forum and rf photography and this is my very first post!
I was very impressed by the friendliness and wealth of knowledge on this forum so thought i'd sign up.
I am an Olympus fan so was happy to find a dedicated Oly forum 😀
I currently have an Oly XA and 2 RD's.
I hope to post some pictures soon but have one question in the meantime, does anyone know how to remove the battery tray in the RD. In one of mine the -ve wire has come loose from the underside of the tray. I have the nut that goes on the end of the screw but cannot get the tray out to do so and i thought i'd ask first before I broke anything.

Jeremy: Dave (greyhound man), Clint (clintock) or others may chime in once they see this post. I don't know as I don't have an RD, but you could also contact John Hermanson at Zuiko.com; he is the premier Oly tech in the US and is a very helpful guy.

Hi there!
The battery tray is simply glued to the back of the camera... just push that plastic housing carefully and it will be free.
Now you just need a soldering iron to get it back there 🙂
