I'm going to buy a QL17 GIII from a guy. He sent me some picture of the machine: it looks fine, with only a little bump on a corner. The lenses are clean, few dust traces inside. He said it works fine, the foam was renewed recently.
I've only one concern: the shutter blades have some little scratches (see the attached picture); is this normal?
Who can help me?
Thank you so much in advance

Hi giuli !! And Welcome !!
If that's your only concern let me tell you that both my Canonets also have those kind of scratches on their shutter blades but work perfectly nonetheless.
But as always, still better if you can get a full refund warranty from the seller in case something is not as described, that makes you feel safer !
Good luck !

Thank you very much for your greeting and help.
I'm afraid I can't get a warranty because it's a private deal.
I knew the seller in an italian discussion forum and it seem to be a honest guy.
He's trying to sell all his gears to buy a new DSLR.
Ciao
(What a wonderful cat!)

Those little scratches appear on most older "Leaflet Shutter" cameras and do not affect them. Oil and dirt is usually responsible for messing up most leaflet shutter cameras, and that can be corrected. If the camera is working at the lower shutter speeds it should be fine to go.
