I enjoyed these photos and you are a lucky man to be living there. I wish I was back in Hanoi now. HCMC has seen a lot of changes. I have slides from District 5 from 20 years ago and it’s a different place. They sure cleaned up the river.

Thanks, Rayt. Foreign investment is pouring in and HCMC is changing at breakneck speed. The area in which I took the barge photo was built-up only a few years ago. PS. Recently, the borders reopened and you can obtain a visitor visa online. Cheers, OtL.
