Suppose Santa was to give you any camera and lenses or accessories that you wanted regardless of price, what would you choose? I have to confess, being a bit of a print junky I would probably choose a lifetime supply of ink and paper. In the camera gear department I’m rather satisfied with what I have. I looked up “best camera in the world” on the internet. There wasn’t a lot of agreement among the experts. I think I would go with the Phase One IQ3 100MP Achromat camera system, a black-and-white only, medium format rig with incredible definition and price. Like my 8x10 view camera (but much more expensive) it would probably spend most of its time sitting unused in the studio, but, boy, would my neighbors be envious.
So - if Santa could bring you any photo gear, regardless of price, what would you choose?

I'd take a commercial-grade Noritsu scanner for negatives. And maybe a full frame digital Leica - or, wait, how about that Zenit-M just to be different! And then I'm sure I'd fall down an M-glass rabbit hole that I've thus far been able to avoid, but my intentions are good...

My sensible mind says a lifetime supply of Tmax400.
My emotional mind says a Nikon F6.
Probably i will be happy with either...

I buy the photo books I want then allow the kids to give them to me for Christmas.
It is tough getting the money from them but at least it is better than socks and undies.
Cheers

Any of the following would tickle me pink (in decreasing order of likelihood):
- a pristine (glass -- body condition is not important) collapsible Summicron 50/2
- an Ebony 8x10 with a nice wide angle and "normal" lens
- a complete Alpa 12 TC with a 40-50mm lens

In my case it would be Tmax100, but I'm only getting three 135 rolls. Next year I'll put in for half a lifetime supply of Tmax400 120, and some more Tmax 100 135 as I have almost a life time supply of Tmax 100 120

With my cameras given to those who needs those cameras, lenses.
I would also cover shipping, don’t want to push this on Rudolph and his team.

Shooter of Film...
Can I have a light-tight room for a permanent Darkroom...I got all the equipment...just a room with tables shelves, a nice sink, running water and a reel to reel for music...and if you're good with the unlimited budget...paper and film...

I have the cameras and lenses I would most want already. I just need to get this back of mine in shape to carry whatever of them I want at any particular time, and walk around with them wherever I want to go.
Dream on.
