Honeywell Cambo film dryer

So, I just bought one of these elderly on-the-reel dryers. While it is small, quiet and cheap I have one problem. Despite the instructions on the cover, I don't really know how to use it.

Specifically, I am unsure as to whether the way the covers and filters were nested together for shipping is the way it should be organized when using it. One of the containers reads "film washer" and doesn't seem like it is meant to be used for the drying stage. (free washer with dryer?)

Does anyone out there have one of these? I found some photos on ebay of all the components. I'd love to know how to put it together.

Help, tips, experiences, etc. are all very welcome. I have no idea how to use this thing and am having major dust problems.

I've seen these for sale and been tempted but decided that I can wait an hour or two for the film to dry and am really not in that big of a hurry. Plus all I can think of is "perma-curl".

I'm in the same boat! Just picked one of these up. I'm sure it's easier to use than I think, though. Probably over thinking this one.
