Hood for Canon 50/3.5 LTM?

I just bought a Canon 50/3.5 collapsible on the 'bay (haven't received it yet), and I'm trying to figure out what sort of hood to use on it. The original Series VI hood seems to be pretty hard to come by. Are there any good alternatives that aren't too bulky? (It has a 34mm filter ring.)

An original hood is collectable and expensive. The Leica FISON fits (it's what I use). There's an ebay seller, photo_widget, that has small size hoods. A series 6 hood will probably be too large.

How rare it is to find one of this lenses? I have heard that it was very good.

Well, I had never seen one on offer before, but I think a number of versions were made between 1949 and 1955. I don't know how rare it is.
