In the foreground - KLH Model Six. Just picked them up a local thrift store - $20. In the background - from top to bottom: Wharfedale Diamond VI, Klipsch KG-2, AR 58s.

The AR's were purchased new by me when I was in Okinawa with the Marines in 1983. The woofer surrounds have disintegrated over time and they need to be refoamed. The Klipsch were purchased recently on eBay (I paid too much) and the Wharfedales were a local garage sale find ($35, NIB).

Getting ready to do some serious HT.

Hey there Bill... I can see the Anchor Brewery from my house. You probably know that it's owned by Fritz Maytag, of the Maytag appliance family. A community minded fellow who brews special beers for special occasions and for good causes. 🙂

Yeah, a couple of real ugly mugs, but they sure do have damn fine taste in "focusing fluid."
