ANy experience with collect888 and his/her film lots?

The films he is selling are mostly dated between 2000 and 2005, and cost around 1.50-2$ per roll.
Did anybody buy from him? Good seller? Good film?
Very tempting offers...

thanks!

Jeez, Pherdi. The seller has 4,004 transactions and 97.6% feedback. How can you screw up your feedback by selling film? 😕

I'll vouch for Kim Perry. I've been buying film from him for several years. He was at a camera show in St. Louis last Sunday:

You can also buy direct from his website:

Definitely looks like one to avoid. I am also looking at ebay for good film deals. I bought some Fuji NPS 160 from tdatrading a while back. Their film was slightly outdated (April 2006) when I bought it in May despite the fact that it was described as current film. The seller shipped VERY promptly and with exchange and extra fees (coming to Canada from US, pffftttt) my 20 rolls came to $61 and change. Definitely worth the price.

If anyone has suggestions of good sellers of film on ebay I would be happy to hear also.

BTW, I have a Canon Rebel 2000, lens, bag etc. for sale on ebay. Look for peter_trb3 on there. I'm a good seller. 🙂

It took him 15 days to mail out a 100' roll of film I bought with BIN. I will never buy from him again.

collect888 is well known to be slow in shipping, so if you're not in a hurry for it, it _might_ be worth it. A number of people on Nelsonfoto did buy from him, and was okay.

I bought some film from him (ad posted in Pnet). It took him some time to ship... and then, as I was waiting for the film, he said he also sold film on ebay as Collect888.

Now, while it took him about two weeks to ship 20 rolls of film, he did add five additional ones to compensate for the wait.

I simply haven't bought any more from him because I needed the stuff fairly quickly. Otherwise, he'd be a star eBayer.

I can also say that Film Club is a great one to buy film from. I've gotten some really great deals on Reala from him.

mhm
so there are alot who sell outdated film, apparently. Filmclub's stock is amazing too.
I wonder where these guys get their stuff from.

Anyway.
The guy on my avatar is pissing, dear Jenni. That's a "public toilet" in the Netherlands often seen on street corners with lots of pubs around.

I bought some 4x5 film from collect888 a while back off of APUG. Yes his shipping was slow. I contacted him about it and he said he had thought he had shipped it but confused my order with another he just shipped. He immediately shipped my order and included a free 10 sheet box with it. I would buy from him again.
