How bad is your white balance?

The only time I need to adjust my D90 off auto is when I'm shooting in a hockey rink......metal halide lighting is too yellow.......I use 2800k as a start then adjust based on test shots.

About 3000k i guess right?
If so it's tungsten i'm afraid (from 2850k to 3200k roughly). Shot this one in tungsten mode as well. Nobody's perfect.;) Easy to adjust in PP if you shot raw anyway. (Epson R-D1, Elmar-M 50/2.8)

Maybe you are correct. . . ;) by the way by PP you mean photoshop?
 
A good raw converter in the first place. My favorite is Capture One which gives almost ideal results with the R-D1. Not the handiest converter though. Photoshop can do it as well but some little plugins can be very usefull for tweaking tiff or psd files. For example iCorrect (color), Silver Efex (b+w) and Fred Miranda's (sharpening).
