How can I move pictures from one collection to another?

Hi there,

I'd like to reorganize my gallery and my photos. I know how to create a collection, but I need to be able to move my pics to new collections.

If that's possible, please let me know.

Hi Marc -- The Collections are different from the old gallery's Albums... those were actual separate repositories and each album contained a copy of the photo. Our current Collections are simple tags applied to the single uploaded photo to relate it to search criteria.

So, knowing how to create a new Collection, you're well on your way to the answer... With one of your Gallery photos open in its own page, click on "show/hide photo detail editor" so that the detail data fields are showing. One of those detail fields is a drop-down menu called "Existing Collections" listing your Collections. Just choose which Collection that photo should belong to, and you're done. It appears the photo can belong to one Collection at a time.
