OK, I'm going to New York at the end of next week, I'll take the Yashica and a few rolls of color film. 🙂
It makes a good hasty weapon, if needed, as well as being a nice camera.
I always wanted to graft that lens onto my Leica because I really liked it.

Having used both the Canon & Yashica it is easy to agree that the Canon is easier to carry. However, I found the the lens on the Yashica is better. And, even though the Yashica is larger than the Canon it is lighter than a Leica M6. If involved in an activity that might cause you to loose or damage you camera choose the Yashico over your Leica M or more expensive unit.
If you want an easier to use Yashica, my two favorite are:
GX:
Pros: Smaller than the GSN, 40mm, TTL Flash
Cons: Needs battery converter
CCN
Pros: 35mm!, Smaller than the GX
Cons: No hotshoe flash, 1/250s max speed
The Yashica is an awesome camera, there is no denying that, it just doesn't suit me.
