How difficult to get a new black paint Leica MP these days?

I decide to get a new Leica MP (black paint). I called a dealer here in Bangkok and they say that I have to put 100% deposit and wait for 4-5 months. Also called a dealer in Singapore and the answer is the same.

Is it difficult to get a black paint MP like this in other places?

For the ones who used to order a black paint MP, how long you have to wait?

I like to order from a dealer because I do not want the problems about shipping and tax.

Does it have to be brand new, or can it be secondhand in mint condition? I don't know about the secondhand market in Bangkok, but in Australia you can get a mint black paint MP if you wait long enough. I see them at my local secondhand dealer about three times a year. Not sure how it is for retailers, but I've seen black chrome M-As in stock locally.
