How do you carry your EDCC (Every Day Carry Camera)?

In my Ford Ranger, On the passenger seat.

Out of my Ford, Wrist strap or Domke Gripper sling on the shoulder.

All depends on what Camera is with me that day.

Usually, my M6 is hung around my neck and the Summilux 35 pre-asph doesn't protrude from my half-open ScottEvest The Tele-elmarit 90 and couple of TriX go in side pockets.

The SEV is useful in that I can also put, if necessary (rain, uncertain area) the camera in another pocket and it won't bulge (that's what the vest is designed for).

In summer, camera hung around neck on light grey shirt, so it won't show too much (My M6 has a black dot). Tele-elmarit goes on my belt in a black nylon case initially designed for a D-lux2, and the spare films in my jean.

It allows me not to stand out and yet have the camera at the ready. It usually works.

I wouldn't do that with my Pentax 6x7 though. :D

bag when I dont shoot... around my neck when I do.. always carry a bag for the other stuffs like notebook, small umbrella, many different film types... I'm fine with it :)

When walking an M (or G2) is either over my left shoulder or around my neck if the shoulder is carrying a bag. While in transit it waits on the passenger seat of the Cooper. I carry it around the neck and inside my raincoat when necessary.

Once real winter comes I'll carry a T3, GR1S or 28Ti in a coat pocket on some of the very cold days instead.

Usually an M and one lens bandolero style. If I'm out for the day to take photos or on vacation I'll have a bag with lenses and film on the other side

Leica M2 w/Gordo strap & 5cm collapsable cron in National Geographic Earth Explorer 2342 Small Holster, with a small Sekonic light meter for tricky lighting situations and a few extra rolls of Tri-X.

Carry it with me everywhere, slung over my shoulder or on my back. Last month I rode halfway across the country on my Harley with it strapped to my back.

Love the combo.

Best,
-Tim

I never leave the house without my iPhone. Whenever it's practical I also take either the X100 slung diagonally across my chest with a Leica strap or a Rolleiflex TLR in a Domke F-5XA bag.

I just carry a bag with me everywhere. The bag changes, depending on if I'm having to carry a laptop around. The Chrome Niko or Crumpler Enthusiast are great bags when I don't have much need for a laptop and go light. A Fogg Cello that I bought off an RFFer is for when I feel like carrying way too much.

But I really don't go out without one of those. M9 and MP are generally enbagged, with spare lenses if I'm carrying them in the Cello.

In a man-purse. haha. Pen FV, TC-1, or Nicca 5 is the small go-to.

My go-everywhere pocket camera is a Minox IIIs, usually loaded with Tri-X. If I have room for it, I'll sometimes carry my IIIc with collapsible Elmar. Everything else I have is too big for an everyday carry camera.

Bessa fits in my purse or around my neck with a strap, and doesn't bother me at
All. MF goes in one of my Domke bags; SLR goes in the huge backpack bag.

I had a long search before I found a notebook messenger bag (sorry for this word) which carries all my daily work stuff (notebook and accessories and papers) alongside with a M body and a few lens. At the moment this is my solution for the EDCC.

strap over the right shoulder for many years and cameras now. today was the Monster Pentax - surprisingly decent to carry with the wood handle and correct Pentax strap.
