How do you finish off a roll of film?

I usually finish up a roll with pics of something mundane. Like our cars, the house, view up and down the street, the neighborhood, etc. I figure that someone, maybe me, will find them interesting enough to appreciate in decade or two.

1. Do a lens test you have been meaning to get around to.
2. Give yourself an assignment to photograph something you have never photographed before.
3. Photograph your current equipment for insurance purposes.
4. Do the same with items in your home.
5. Take a couple of backup shots of subjects you already took.
6. Visit the local flower garden--a good place to burn film.
7. Current self-portrait.
8. Test a flash gun.
9. Take a short vacation.
10. No number 10--I have to go finish a roll of film.

How do you finish off a roll of film?

Well..

Usually, after the "standard" amount of torture; simply punching it out a bit will finish it off.. and then you never have to worry about it speaking again..... loose lips, sink ships and all that...
