How do you mail prints?

I sold an 8x10 print via Facebook. How does one mail a print: flat or rolled in a tube?

Never sold 🙂, but mailed 8x10.
Canada Post outlets have padded envelops. They even let me re-use USPS padded envelops.

Got a good suggestion: use an empty photo-paper box.

Thar's usually how I mail an unmounted, unmatted, unframed print. It works well, I have never had one arrive damaged, and the boxes are relatively small yet strong, so postage is not high.

Most likely, someone sells them in smaller quantities.
