Hey, Tim, one "tip" regarding the Pentax brand adaptor. Unlike a Leica ltm adaptor, which comes off the camera still attached to the lens, you cannot remove a screwmount lens with the adaptor still on it (unless you modify the adaptor, that is). So, what you end up doing is unscrewing the lens and then either screwing in another lens or wanting to remove the adaptor in order to put on a K mount lens. Removing the adaptor is no big deal once you know the trick. Nothing magic about it, but here's the deal. You reach towards the open-faced camera lens mount using your index finger and opposing thumb (like you're going to squeeze a cherry tomato) with the fingernail of your index finger reaching between the mount and the adaptor to squeeze or release the small flat lever which locked the adaptor onto the mount. Then, while pressing the lens mount release button on the front of the camera and while using your fingernail to collapse or release the lever, you press lightly against the camera mount with the tips of your thumb and index finger and rotate the adaptor counterclockwise about a quarter turn. The adaptor should then be lifted right out of the camera. Sorry if this sounds overly complicated. It's really very quick and easy. It just takes a few extra words to make it all clear (at least I hope I made it all clear!). Have fun and enjoy the camera!
