how is Noctilux during the day?

I use a B+W 10x ND on mine during the day. I think that's 3 stops. All I know is that it works pretty well.

I do have a B&W 8X ND filter that I have used on many occasions in full sun and it works great. As far as I can tell, I really see no image degradation when using it.

8X? Is that 2 stops?

The Noctilux is fabulous during daytime ...
Just do not ask me for colorpicture, especially not Velvia 🙂

All samples at F1 with an R-D1 using 2 stop ND-filter .......

The third shot is amazing. Is that B&W straight out of the camera?
