Has it really been that long? Wow, it seems like only yesterday....

I joined before Richard himself. In fact, I remember that right above his avatar there was the following inscription: "The Devil Uses an SLR."

I joined so long ago... threads were kept alive by Joe and Jorge and some (very few) other hardcore fans. The people in this site encouraged me to get a Leica... and later gave me a lot of support ! 🙂

BTW, I'm member #12 since June 30, 2003.

I joined somewhere in July 04 after getting a GSN at a flea market over the 4th of July weekend and not knowing WTF I'd gotten myself into... many cameras later I find that my wallet still has not forgiven me for discovering this place... 😀

#511 as much as it matters. I do think it was interesting to be here when it was really small, but OTOH, there have been many new folks with good things to add. Alas, on the gripping hand, we've lost too many of the grognards* lately and the place does suffer for that.

Joined April Fool's Day, (that should tell you something) 2005 - member #1620. Stumbled into RFF whilst Googling to find out what the heck a Zorki was. Thought some info might come in handy since I had already purchased one 😕 . . . joined immediately.

Joined Feb 2005. I found the site by googling for rangefinders - yashica GT, I think. Never looked back, although before joining I never had this problem with GAS. I don't think my bank manager (or wife) was too happy I joined! 😉
