Is your Planar similar to the Contax G 45mm Planar?

Hmmm Raid, I haven't had the G contax/ 45 planar in awhile
but what i remember is its THIN plane, ultra sharp rendering
like the 50 Planar Zm
its 6 Elements / 4 Groups
but I think the zm planar though Equally SHARP
has a Fatter Rounder Plane

Hello Helen,
I got a G1 with three lenses, and I love them all. I wanted a modern very sharp lens, so I could not less a good buy pass me. I have the 28mm-45mm-90mm lenses, and the 45mm Planar really is a special in many ways. Your ZM lens lets you use your M camera with it, whereas I use my Planar only on the G1.

a simple answer: 1
a more complex answer: i began with a cron 50, which then became a lux 50 asph, but later became a cron 50 again. (i found the cron more to my liking in various ways.)
