How many 50's is enough?

Let N be the number of 50's currently owned. The proper number of 50's that need to be owned is N+1.

About 20 to 30 various 50mm lenses - they made a lot of them. 39mm screw mount, but not LTM. Just looks like it.

I also have an assortment of Vivitar, Yashica, and other Japanese 50's in M42, and a growing collection of German 50mm M42 lenses, including a CZJ Sonnar 58mm f2.

50mm is my favorite focal length too.

I have a box full of recently rediscovered Minolta MD mount lenses and SRT style SLRS. I guess I need to sell 'em. Lots of 50's.

2- Takumar 55/1.8 M-42 (ok close enough)

I know in rangefinger land I would be interested in a skopar 50/2.8 to add for the Leica. This is almost worse than collecting bodies

LOL -- Well, it pays to be versatile; I don't even run Linux (too commercial); I run FreeBSD... alas, I also run Windoze XP (Xtra Painful)

BTW, it could be a security risk to run crons...

At this moment, there is no other photographic piece of gear that I can think of that I want. (Well, maybe a Canon 35 f2.8.)
