Two but I accidentally I pressed 'more than 10' on the poll. First one was a Nikon 8400 followed by a Canon EOS 10D. Still got both but I only use film. I take pictures of my film cameras thought.

Well, i started with Benq 2mp (I think) camera, which was miracle after use of films 🙂.

Later got Nikon d80 with 50/1.8,

changed to Pentax k20d and tamron 17-50/2.8 which backfocused,

last stop in dslr world was canon 550d with same tamron model. After 3 days in Thailand jungles with quite heavy camera backpack decided to ditch dslr forever and few years used minolta md film only,

later got fuji xe1 18/2 - excelent size, excelent results and adapted some superb minolta mf and jupiter lenses.

Just got a nice deal on leica m8 and cron-c, and though body is in Solms now for some vertical lines issue, its covered by dealer's warranty and soon will be back 🙂 now debating whether to ditch fuji and stick with leica and iphone 5s only, or keep it 🙂

=======================================

I bought my first digital camera in 2004: the original Canon Digital Rebel (EOS 300D). Kept it for less than a year. Nice image quality, but limited in some functions and very slow. The rest, in chronological purchase order, are as follows:

Canon 20D
Fujifilm F10
Canon Powershot SD850 (I believe. Not sure.)
Some really crappy Olympus water proof P&S.
Canon 50D
Canon Digital Rebel T1i (EOS 500D)
Olympus E-P1 (The beginning of my m4/3 phase.)
Panasonic Lumix G2
Panasonic Lumix G3
Panasonic Lumix GF-3
Leica M9P (This one put an end to my m4/3 phase.)
Canon 7D Mk. II
Leica M-P Typ 240
Nikon Df

Many have been sold, many more have been given away to friends and relatives. I only use the last two on the list, having sold most of my Canon EOS system, including all remaining bodies.

Cheers,

Antonio

In addition, I used to own a Fujifilm X-E1, X-T1 (both sold to KEH), and X20 (gave it to my daughter),
and an Oly E-10 (sold it to Adorama), for a total of 37. I know, I know, too many cameras...

Quite a few but only one bought 'as new'.
Have a couple of factory refurbished that I still use.
Picked up several out of curiosity when the price has been less than $10 equivalent and have them all somewhere.
At present loving my Lumix LF1 and LX7 - the latter I've just set on 'auto ISO'.
I guess about 12 in all.

I've got three I actually purchased and used as a main camera (two of which I still do), four that came in box lots of which only three worked (I plan on donating them sometime), and one I found in a snowy trash pile one day while on a photo safari, and brought it back to life, eventually giving it to one of my brothers.

Oh, and the one I bought for my sister after I dropped hers, breaking the sensor and/or screen.

That makes nine. Not counting the very early models I bought as collectables (four of them).

First was a gift from my now wife, a Canon IXUS 5. Great little camera which I used for about 10 years until my daughter broke it. I tried to repair it but it pretty quickly got out of hand! The best thing was the zoom always started at its widest when turning it on, but since it was old, wide was 35mm. Since it's my favourite focal length I never had to use the zoom 🙂

Next was a Nikon D60. Good fun, nice size, horrible finder. Sold it to fund an M6. Don't regret that for a second.

After that I got an Olympus XZ-1 I think. Worst menu system ever. Sold because I hated it.

Currently I own an iPhone 5, and have no plans to get another digital camera.

30D
5Dc
X Pro-1
X100S

That sums it up. I've had a few "long term rentals" that I never had to pay for but I'll exclude those. I'm not a big digital camera person. I sold my X100S which was the last one for me to own in 2014. I've been all film since then.

Nikon D3100
Olympus EPL-5

The Olympus was bought to try and get wife more interested in photography. When traveling we keep it in the truck for that quick photo. I want to get the Nikon D7200, and the price is coming down. Still do my B/W in film, 35mm and medium format.

Just one so far, my Canon 6d with 28-135mm, vs my 40 or so film cameras. Really like the results I get from Monochrome on the 6d and no reason so far to get another digital camera. I've found digital cameras makes me lazy so dont try to use mine that often 🙂

First digital - A Canon PowerShot S50 piece of junk, never made a properly focused photo in its life. Ugh. Long since recycled that turkey.

Went to a Nikon D300s - fantastic focus and operation, then bought an addition - its big brother D700 Full Frame. Still have both plus various lenses.

Later added a FujiFilm X100S, then traded that in on an X100T. Both OUTSTANDING cameras. I agree with Ken Rockwell when he says - THE BEST.

Not to mention around two dozen Canon, Nikon, Hasselblad film cameras.

Fuji s7000 my first digital camera , d70s , sony a200 , canon 6D , all sold as I keep coming back to film but will probably end up buying 6dII or a7III at some point.

I've not owned or used any digital stuff.

I probably won't until film is... well, I won't say it, but you know what I mean.

I'd consider it if I could have one that is like a nikon f301, but with shutter speeds, apertures and " -, +, - " in the viewfinder with the same sort of focusing screen it has now, with the ability to go from 25 asa to 3200 asa but able to 'copy' different films, suc as kodachrome, fuji superior, ilford hp5 etc, perhaps even with the ability to react to filters like film does, with DoF preview, mirror lock-up and double exposure, but must be able to use ais fit lenses with the aperture rings without an adapter. Full frame.

In short like a Nikon F301 with aspects of an FM2n (but with mirror lock-up) and able to be used entirely like a manual focus 35mm camera, and simpler than a Nikon Df.

I have only had one digital camera, a little Canon P&S that my sister bought me for Christmas a few years ago. It has no viewfinder, so I can't stabilize it against my face. It has no image stabilization and I have a tremor in my hands, so it's an exercise in futility trying to get a sharp image.

I have taken a handful of P&S images, viewable on the camera's LCD screen, but nothing more. When asked why I haven't used it much, I tell people that I still can't find the aperture ring or the shutter speed dial. 😎
