Taophoto you're so right. Every photoforum I frequent has a lot less female members than male. Toycameras might be an exception but I am not sure. As you've said women have more important things to do like actually use their cameras instead of fondling it.

I don't know if you read it, but about 2 years ago there was an interview on an italian newspaper about it.....Jessica Lange is a Leica M user, a gift from Sam Sheperd.......is she a member here?
Most of the women M users I know (which is only a few) use film Ms.

This isn't the most accurate measure of women participating on the forum -it just means they might not be shooting Leicas. Maybe more men are just compensating for something else by buying a Leica....ha!
