I have two M bodies, a black MP 0.72 (2003 model) and a black M4-P for a backup.

Tell your wife you really do need a backup and get a good user M for $750-1000. That way, you have a safety net and (hopefully) she won't object to the cost.

None at all I'm afraid but I did get to hold and fondle a M9 yesterday, not possible to borrow it so I had to be happy just to hold onto it.

Times are tough at the moment and I do not know where my next M will come from.... Therefore, I will need to be satisfied with only three.

Kidding of course, three is plenty. I like to have two digital bodies so my lens changes are kept to a minimum. I keep the 75 Summicron on the M8 permanently and use the 24, 35, 50 crons on the M9. The M6 is in transit as I type, half way from the USA to Australia. Just bought it... can't wait to get it.
I had been all digital for nearly 10 years, using Canon DS 1,2,3. Kept a 1D3 and a couple of lenses. The industry has died here in OZ with all the cheap backyarders coming in. I have kinda lost interest and changed direction... am hoping the M6 will revive my interest in film.
