I still have one XA, a XA2 and just to round it out, a XA3.
All work faultlessly, but I also admit backsliding to a pocket digi...
in this case, a Canon A590IS.

I have had two. I'd buy another if I could find one as cheap as I got the last.

The best camera is one that still works!
The one that was in the classifieds this morning looked OK ... I should heve been more alert!

I got mine for dirt cheap at a camera store 'cause the guy thought that there was something wrong with the finder. I cleaned the outsides, and bam! Nice camera, nice finder.

I bought an XA2 for brand loyality to the OM system, laterly got an XA. But I always thought I was missing something if I didn't have the OM SLR with me.. no matter how capable the XA. In the end I bought a 35Ti and solved the problem

My XA has accompanied me on several overseas trips and I've always been very pleased with the photos. I've never had any problems with it. The RF is slightly out of alignment, but as long as I stop down when shooting close it doesn't seem to matter. I've been meaning to take it apart to correct this.
I used to do a lot of "shoot from the hip" street photography, for which the XA excels. It is so quiet and discreet.

I toted around an XA for a while. It didn't produce consistent images (probably due to the photographer) but when it did it had a feeling all its own. I still have several shots from this camera that I keep around the house...

3 OMs, one XA currently. The XA is a great "shirt-pocket camera"; bought it for US 20, and its an amazing performer, really. The only thing I don't like about it, is the square aperture.

Used to have an XA and an XA2. I really liked my XA. I probably should have held onto it, but was in the middle of a severe GAS attack and traded it in to KEH for an OMZ 35/2.8. Stupid decision on my part, the XA has a unique look all its own. I got some killer shots with that little camera.
