None actually. Too lazy to carry one around. But there were times I could perhaps use one.

I think I am left with one monopod....... not sure where it is hiding.

Two tripods and a 'table tripod'. Only the table tripod is of good quality. I want to get rid of the other two and get a nice Manfrotto.

One Manfrotto 190XDB with Manfrotto heavy-duty 3-axis head,
One Focal tripod from the sixties in silver and hammertone grey,
One Tamrac Zipshot, self-erecting travel tripod (I love that thing!)
One tiny, less-than-a-foot-tall table-top tripod (so cute)
One really, really tiny three-spindly-bendy-legs tripods for a P&S digital
One clamp that also has 3 very basic legs that can fold out.
Those are the tripods.
For weird stuff, I have the clamp, and I also have a tripod head that clamps to a car window.
No monopods, but I do have a broken Velbon video tripod with no head I use as a light stand, and a proper light stand that came with a reflector.
So that's somewhere between six and eight.
As for the ones I use, it's pretty much the Manfrotto for Large Format or precision work, and the ZipShot most other times. The ZS gets toted along more often because I don't have to specifically think to bring it.

Bob Michaels put the nail on the head. It is not how many you own that matters. It is how many you use. I have three. I almost never use them. I need to use them more often in those circumstances that would benefit from a steadier camera. Lens or body stabilization is often not an adequate substitute.

I just bought a Manfrotto 055XBPRO with 222 joystick head. I'm hoping I use it a lot because it was a pretty decent investment.
I've read mixed reviews on the 222 head (mostly negative) but I have borrowed one before and it really suited my style of shooting.
I've owned multiple crappy sub-$100 tripods in the past but they always break or the plate gets lost and is difficult to replace. Most big camera stores carry Manfrotto parts and accessories so hopefully I don't have that problem.

Two gitzos and a berlebach full-sized tripods.
Two gorillapods.
Manfrotto and Leica-esque tabletop tripods.
One $60 'mall special' tripod as a loaner.
One light manfrotto monopod.
One gitzo monopod.
For bonus points, two 'pod' beanbags.
(And take 90% of my photos hand-held.)

for a long time i only had cheap P.O.S. tripod but a few days ago i bought a Slik Mini II "tabletop" tripod. it's very well made and seems like it'll be great for home use and out on the field doing low-angle & low lights shots. plus it makes a great "chest pod".

I think I own one tripod. I looked for it a couple of months ago but couldn't find it. It's probably buried deep in a closet.
I also have a monopod, which hasn't been used in 20 years!

One large heavy Gitzo Studex, one Tiltall and a Gitzo lightweight traveller. As the years go by, the tripod I actually use gets lighter!
Cheers Bill.

One. I had a cheap, not even workable for a light SLR tripod for a while. Wanted something better but couldn't justify buying one until I picked up a 4x5 field camera. The cheap tripod now holds strobes on uneven terrain when needed but doesn't hold cameras anymore so I don't consider it a tripod.
The Feisol goes out when I need a tripod. Decent price and a great piece of gear which can easily hold anything I use.
I'll probably pick up a tiny table tripod for use with a rangefinder at some point.

3 tripods. One Ries tripod for LF or heavy MF. One Gitzo 1228 mk II for everything else. There's also the biggest gorillapod for travel (desperate situation tripod).

Just one. My Gitzo.
I used to have two, but I didn't know where the other one went to.

I own 4 - all gifts. I must have used one a some point or another, but I don't remember when. I also have a very nice monopod. Never used, either.
Maybe someday.

Just the one. Some Slik with some small ballhead. I had a Berlebach with a Manfrotto 3047 head but I sold it when I sold all my bulkyish 4x5 gear with the aim to cut down on size and weight and make a much more portable 4x5 kit with a tripod that'll be small enough to use with every other format.
I'm still hunting…

I have four at the moment. One Manfrotto 3021, Gitzo CF 1548, 1325 and a traveler that I use on occasion. I used tripods all the time when I was shooting landscapes but rarely use one now days. I need to sell 2 or maybe 3. Jim
