Thank you for the link.. I was searching for something similar here, but couldn't find it.
IMO, I think it is because many women photographers are not to interested in traditional methods, or are interested in 'discussing gear'.
It's kind of funny.. many of my co-workers like to go to Winners or whatever during their lunch break for their retail therapy. I prefer to go to Henrys (a camera store here in Toronto).
