how old are you?

Well I'm 29., and new here, just got my kiev4m today. A little while ago I bought a Moskva 5 and fell in love with rangefinder focusing. Can't wait to get today's roll developed.

best year of your life!?

Yes thanks Joe. I got married as well and she was happy when I turned the laundry into a darkroom and bought a couple of lenses and a MF rangefinder at Christmas.

It doesn't get any better than that!

38, 39 in May. My last year in the 30's :) Still using the same camera my dad used and gave me (SRT 101, just like new with a CLA last year). 1/2 my cameras are older than me.

19 in may (im saying that because it makes it sound like summer is just around the corner that way).

Only really started with photo about a year ago when I subconciously decided that I would love taking pictures. I bough a used minolta dimage X and have a couple of thousand pictures on my computer. I still have it in my pocket at all times but I decided I need more quality in my shots so I decided to look into film. I then one day remembered how fun it was to take pictures with my grandfathers zorki 1 a couple of years ago.

I still have that zorki but its broken. Then a friend I have gave me a kiev 4 because his dad had one laying around (but then it broke). Then I got a yashica gs a couple weeks ago but must say that I dont like how it feels and dont like the automation too much so now I have a soviet MIR rangefinder on its way to my house. Im going to use the Industar 22 from my grandfathers zorki on it!

Oh, and I live in boston and am going to northeastern and am studying Electrical Engineering.

Hello!

Let's just say "over 40" and leave it at that. :(

I'm old enough to know better but young enough to say "what the {expletive}". :)

And, I think I've always been older than any camera I've ever owned.

happy being 42 - younger then most my cameras, all manual - no batteries needed

I´m 38,- but my body feels like it´s 70 and my mind as it was 9.

17, i'm not very active on this forum yet , a lot of reading. And still waiting for my first rangefinder
