42 years and 22 days, so much more to learn - In a little over a week, I'll be buying my first Leica from Helen Hill, and I couldn't be more excited!

My oldest son is 30 years old with some gray hair and is about 6-feet, 2-inches tall (188cm). I'm about 5-feet, 9-inches tall (175cm). People who know me, but have never met my son often think that I'm younger than I am--it's probably because of my silly personality. But when they eventually meet my son and see how old he is, they always look back at me in disbelief that I would have a son that big and that old. While they're trying to decide what to say to me that would be polite, my usual response at that moment is, "Yeah, he's older than me."

So, that's my answer here to the question about my age: I'm younger than my oldest son.

I love seeing the responses from those in their teens and twenties. I'm still in my twenties, just barely.

The young ones are our future, and the future of film!

57 last month. I still use the Leica M2 with 2.8/50 Elmar I bought at 15, in school!

But I like turning older, you have all the money you want to buy all the equipment you wanted when you were younger. You don´t have to save up!

The drawback is that I don´t always have the energy to take all the photographs I want. Somehow work and all other demands wear you down every day. Still I try take some photos every day!

I will be young for about 8 more months, then I will be old. At least by my current ddefinition. I've still got those 8 months to change my mind though.
