Is Fed-2???

My view finder is a bit greeny(fungus) so its only use is for adjusting the focus and stuff, but i don't see the whole relfection on the view finder specially that the borders are wildly greenish, i can't see them...

Before my FED 2 died, I have to say, I never worried much about composition. I used the viewfinder more as an extremely rough guideline and I always shot with both eyes open. Kind of used the RF patch as an idea of roughly where the centre of the shot was.

But then, I was also using a 35mm lens on it without an external VF! Results were interesting but it worked well for me.

Not very, but some. I've had some problems if I'm shooting close, but that's about it.

if your VF is that bad, you need to check out the Sticky thread at the top of this forum!! Laika's instructions on cleaning the FED 2 VF are simple and have pics attached detailing each step in the process.

Yeah i'm goin to clean it soon, but i'm a bit lazy and out of time...The whole camera need some maintenance..

It's just that some pics appeared to me affected by the parallax issue, i just wanted to check if it was my viewfinder or it was really parallaxed, these pics were from a close range, so probably that was the problem...
