I know we have several apple experts here, and id appreciate some advice.

I've got a big trip coming up next summer. I'm photographing seriously with film, and my iPhone and iPad will be used for any digi pics. Before I leave I'd like to free up their memory space. I've got about 300-400 pics stored.

What's the easiest way for me to get those files off of my iPhone/ipad and stored somewhere, either remotely or on a storage device?

Connect your iPad to the computer that has iTunes on it. First open iTunes, then connect the tablet. Then from inside iTunes you can see your photos and can drag them into a backup folder on your computer. Once they're backed up on the computer, delete them from the tablet.

Dropbox. Sync with a folder and all images are uploaded as they are taken. When your device fills up. unsync the old folder, then sync up a new one and delete images on your device.
