Thanks. The phone really wouldn't need to go in it necessarily. With the OtterBox its huge.
they have an otterbox for the ipad?
the pic shows my mini with just a cover on it with tons of room...and i'm not familiar with the samsung note...
i had an otterbox on my iphone 4 and it really buffed out the phone...
bottom line...i don't know!

nice review, Joe - it would be useful to show the bag being worn - that way one can judge the size and see the whole bag (your pics only show details).

How does the bag compare with the Citywalker 10 Joe? I bought the Citywalker but find it too large for my small kit. Used it only twice and put it in the classifieds (no takers btw). I like the Think Tank bags but like the Billinghams I find them either too big or the small ones too boxy. Why can't they produce a small bag with a slim profile?

the mm30 is boxy for sure...i think i called it utilitarian...the citywalkers are closer to what you want but sounds like you need a smaller one...the billinghams are very different, very classy looking/feeling. the L2 is a great size, you might want to look at that...about the same capacity as the ona bowery but differently shaped.
i have the billingham L2 and the f1.4 and find them a good team.

I tried to really like the 30i. The feature I really like is the magnetic top flap closure. The only problem is that the flap doesn't give any access the main compartment. I ended up returning the 30i after a couple of days and got the smaller Mirrorless Mover 20. The design of this smaller bag makes a lot more sense to me. With the top unzipped the magnetic flap allows full access to the interior and keeps the bag closed when magnetically latched. The bag is just right for my GX7 and two lenses.

good does not have to be expensive!
recently, think tank was kind enough to send me a sample from their new mirrorless mover range of bags for a review. ...
Good review. I posted about this bag in a couple of places. It's a very good bag.
I've been thoroughly delighted with the Think Tank Photo "Mirrorless Mover 30i". It's a reasonably light, reasonably protective, reasonably compact bag that will hold up to four medium size SLR lenses (Leica R or Nikkor) and one body (Sony A7/Leicaflex SL-Nikon F plain prism size), and necessary accessories. It can hold a second body as well, with three lenses total.
I like that it holds its shape well, and that the lid opens away from you so it's easy to get gear in and out with out fussing with the bag. I like that the strap is easy to exchange to suit your preferences too. It has a protected pocket for up to full size iPad inside too. And it costs only about $65 or so.
The front flap on this model is mostly for style, it doesn't allow access to anything but the front zipper pocket, which of course has its own zipper already. I forgive them that silliness.
It wears well. The way the strap can pivot on the eyelets allows it to conform to your back or side well. You get get gear in and out very easily, more easily than with bags that have an overflap and are less rigid. After walking with both this bag and then with my A&A ACAM 1100, this bag is easier to use and more comfortable, which surprised me.
I like this bag so much I bought a second one so I can keep one empty and ready to load up when I go out, rather than having to open a full one and pull out what I don't want for a given session, leaving the excess sitting around unprotected on my desk.
It's a little large for the E-M1 with a small lens kit (say, 14/25/45/75) but not excessively so. You could easily fit a second body into it for that kit.
Here it is loaded up with Sony A7, Summilux-R 50, Summicron-R 90, Elmarit-R 24, Elmar-R 180, three spare batteries, iPad mini, wireless remote, two spare back caps, rain cover, and spare Domke Wrap (medium).

The whole kit weighs 7.6 lbs as you see it.

I also have one, with enough room for a CL and a digital p&s. Room or my large Nook, and an extra lens for the Leica.
