Hi all,
Just wondering how I would go about adjusting the rangefinder in a Leica 3F. The vertical/horizontal alignment is way off.
I'll see if I can get some photos of the rangefinder.
Cheers,
Mugs

The usual horizontal RF double image adjustment is done with a fine thin flat screw driver to the delicate inside screw behind the outside plug screw that is next to the front VF window for the singular horizontal RF image at infinity.
The vertical image is adjusted by removing the trim ring of the round RF window closest to the shutter dial and rotating the window (which is really a prism) till a good non over lapping vertical RF image is achieved. Use a small piece of inner tube rubber to grip and take off the round trim ring so not to marr it. (the trim ring screws on)
There is a one metre close focus adjustment at the cam but that rarely goes out.
