How to place a trade ad

OK, I've done this in the past but cannot do it now. If I enter the classifieds by one method the firt step is step 2 of 3 - pick a category. If I try another way in I get to step one - place a trade, but then the second step is blank. The second step is a pick box but there is nothing to pick. Very frustrating.

I've placed for sale ads before and have had the same problem. Depending which "place an ad" you pick you end up at a different spot. Of all the various methods only one works.

Help my find the way.

This happened to me last week or the week before. I couldn't manage to place the ad. I'm Running Safari 5.0.4.

I just tried it by going to the classifieds, then scrolled down to "want to trade", then clicked on "place an ad, and that took me to step 2 of 3 (I'm assuming step one is irrelevant in this case), it asked me to choose a catgegory but the check box for "want to trade" was already checked. I clicked the "submi" button which took me to where you'd type your ad. I did this a month ago and swapped lenses with another member. The ad turned out a little different than what I typed, so I had to go in and "fool the machine" into giving me what I'd wanted.

Yeah, I had difficulties too, but found that it worked if you entered the WTT section before trying to place your ad.
