how to put the left hand on Kiev II

Hi all, i found that if I hold my Kiev with the left index finger into the cavity over the rewind wheel, it's natural to put the tumb under the camera body, and my holding is a bit more stable. How do you put your left hand?

I hold the camera with the camera resting in my left hand, my indexfinger and thumb adjusting the distance, and my righthand in the "Contax"-manner (indexfinger on the distancewheel, middlefinger below the range-window)

I can put my left hand anywhere I want on the Kiev with no problem. It's my right hand that gives me problems. 😛
