How to shim jupiter 3 to leica standard?

Yes- these work very well. I have two of them, both were perfect focus out of the box with my M9.

I was very excited and pleased with mine- the company asked me to do a write-up on it after I bought it. Might have been one of the first sold in the US.

I told this to the person that took my order-

"So in the 21st century, we don't have flying cars--but you can buy a brand new Jupiter 3 that is better than ever. I'm calling it even."

Woah, great. And so M9 / M240 makes no difference? You sure?
I am asking it because this m240 seems to have issues with all adapted ltm lenses (ultron 28 as well)

If your camera gives you bad results consistently, you should probably have someone check out the rangefinder calibration. There is not really a reason why adapted LTM lenses should not work on the M240. As far as I know there are only a few M or LTM lenses that are not compatible with digital Leicas, most notably the 50 DR Summicron and some of the old very wide lenses with prodtruding rear elements...

The Jupiter 3+ should be fine!

yeh, I see your point. Nevertheless I have had focus issues only with this mount: jupiter 3, canon ltm 50 and ultron ltm 28. Pretty strange.

Start a thread with the results posted.

The Jupiter-3, and other Soviet lenses were made to the Zeiss standard (nominal) 52.4mm.

Canon optimized their lenses for F2.8 or so. You may notice a difference when used wide-open.

My M9 has been used to calibrate lenses for many other digital Leica RF cameras, including the M240. There should be no difference unless the individual camera is out of calibration.
