Hey guys,

I landed myself a roll of Kodak 320TXP roll film, expired in 2007. I got so much question about this film, so here comes.... :)

Should I be shooting it at EI 200 or lower just to be sure?

when come to develop the film, I only have D76, I would like it to be a little less grainy, that would be dev at stock solution, right?

Some googling around it seems that this film is not only expired, but it was discontinued as well, how come?

Is this film has a specific type of scene that I should be shooting for? Like if it ok for some landscape shooting, or is it more suitable for portraiture/human as I've also read that this film does good with skin tone, so I'd think would be waste to shoot landscape with it?

Apology for this tsunami of questions, but I figured I only got 1 roll of it and it is not something that is available anymore I'd like to make the most out of it and the best place to starts asking is here :D

For one thing, it depends on how the film has been stored. If kept frozen, or at least refrigerated, you should be OK shooting at EI 250 or 200. Yes, for minimum grain with D-76, use the stock solution, not 1:1. Discontinued because not enough people were buying it?

I see, I have no idea how it was store previously. I guess I'll shoot at 200 EI and hope for the best. Thanks!

Normal exposure and stand development? Everything else is guessing.
Some time ago I found an Agfapan 100 film. Expiry date 10.1987. All I knew was that it had allways been on room temperature.
It came out ok, maybe a little thin, but very usable.
I suppose you are not going to use it for some once in a lifetime pictures :)
