Hi, I have a few Canonets GIII, Oly SP, Oly XA, Konica S3... All of them are storaged without batts. But I'm planning to use more my Leica cameras and storage these cameras for a long time.
Is there a best way to storage cameras? Dry place, ziploc bags, etc? Selling is not considered.
Thanks for your advice.

The best long-term storage solution i have found is to get the large reusable silica gel bags and large metal ammunition boxes, or something similar that has an airtight seal. Seal up the cameras with the silica gel dessicant in the box, and once or twice a year, open the box, inspect the cameras, pop the silica gel bags in the oven for a bit to dehydrate them again, and then seal them back up. A couple of my Father's cameras have been sealed up like this for well over a decade, and they are indistinguishable from the day they first went in.
