P. S. Your pictures loaded after I submitted my comment. Nice shots! They're both great but I especially like the expression you captured in the portrait. Way to go!

You will see a lawyer about that accident, I hope. I am sure you are entitled to damages above and beyond the cost of repairing your SUV. You and Anne Marie are very lucky to escape without injuries or worse. You lead a charmed life Bill.

My M5s need red dots!
Bill... you're some racconteur! It's weird how you got through the day on a nice, successful way and you ended it with a blast.
Talk about eating dessert before dinner!
But, in the end, I'm mightly glad it was only the windshield, and nothing on your or Anne Marie! And, all in all, the whole affair left you with a good story!
As Rover said, once you've developed a good free-lance relationship with the paper, you're on your way to becoming a real pro. Go for it!
And I really like your photos. I went to our May Veteran's Day parade and ceremony, but instead of that nice sun you got, we were rained on like it was cats and dogs.
Glad to see you again!
Edit: another vote for "Bugle on lap" (powerful), "Chaplain" and "Firing Squad" portraits. The first of the kids sitting on the stairs is a nice, calendar shots. But the bugle is just breathtaking. I do like your "Program in hand" that starts the series, but the Bugle is powerful. I'm green with envy!!

And also really glad the only 'converted' thing was the Jeep and that you can tell us the story now !

Nicely shot, Bill, and glad to hear everyone came out OK in the end. I love the bugle in the lap shot, very moving image. Anyone want to second me in nominating Bill as our official storyteller?
