So...

I’m moving at the end of this year from Michigan to Texas (Hello Texans!)

With moving comes the obvious deep cleaning, tossing old bits, and a ton of runs to the local donation centers.

I have the SLR kit all bundled down in a harbor freight case (pelican knock off) and as I’ve been preparing other tubs to be be thrown out or given away on Photrio I’ve come to the conclusion I have a absolute huge collection of compact cameras both film and digital.

I’m intending to keep the majority of them... and I’m thinking I should narrow it down to maybe 20 or 30 cameras and I’m wondering if you guys could cook me up a proper long term storage solution that could move easily with me while maintaining some protection from the other bits and boxes tumbling around!

Short of another pelican style case... something soft might work!

This is a very large tub, I have, umm, four of them..

I use this to dehumidify the contents (it is rechargeable by plugging into an outlet):

And this to check on the humidity level:

It works fine, I wrap whatever is inside there in micro fleece cleaning clothsI bought from Costco.

Humidity and high temp will destroy. Texas qualifies.

I am looking for small food containers that might be suitable with no luck. Look for a picnic box and seal the lid with packing tape or there is is always pelican. Pack in low humidity , add desiccant, seal lid.
