...Can't understand...
this reminds me the T-Max purple (when badly fixed) but instead of purple the negative is grey...dark grey...
I know that the transparent film is underdeveloped...but this is not overdeveloped for sure (6 min @ 21°C in Microphen Stock)...
The developer was mixed 1 month ago then I've used the first 1/2 liter bottle...this was the first dev of the second bottle (it has been kept in a dark room) The fixer was fresh.
What now?
More exposure when I will print? (Enlarger,of course)
A deep filter? (I have Kodak filters, the paper is Ilford MG IV Multigrade)
Please help...

I have been using 2 rolls (100ft each I mean) of hp5+ purchased back in 2004 which have 'veeeery densy base'. It bring me some difficulties with scanning (when using nikon 8000 it is not a problem though), but printing on enlarger was OK w/o troubles

nikon 8000 produces very nice grain from this hp5 pushed ei800

Many thanks to you too...
@ kossi008 & Costo Kim - looks like you both have pointed in the right direction:film base density
At the moment the film has only been scanned and it looks fine...my worries are for prints...
Print session this afternoon,so I'll check it out...
See you later. 🙂
