victor, that's a 2 not a 1.9

which is supposed to be the better?
1.8/1.9 or the 2?
i think i read the 1.9 is the best of the bunch.

that being said my 85/2 is sharp sharp! and i got mine at a good price too.

the later black ones are not as heavy as the chrome ones. yes a very good lens.

Another pint and it'll be an 85/1.4! Well, it is an f/2.0. I bought an f/2.0 from FrankS last spring and it's a great lens. More chrome than an old Buick.
