Just saw this listed on GetDPI classifieds:

If someone wants to buy this and send it to Epson Japan for a complete overhaul (e.g., via Dirk at JapanExposures) it should net out as a real bargain.
Of course, I have absolutely no knowledge of the seller or the camera in question.

OK, I actually bought this one. It's not exactly what I would call 'beater' though..
Actually, after putting on some griptac and adjusting the focus it almost looks and acts like new! Thanks, Ari, for that awesome hint!
I also include some of the first shots I took with it (and the 28/2 Ultron)...

Yep, it took me a full day to get it running (had to remove the top plate and adjust the base length). It's still a real bargain, though...
