I'm going to get on a high horse here. I think posting this reference to an Ebay auction for old junk must have been a lapse of judgment on the part of the poster. Its one thing to give members a heads up as to auctions for desireable rangefinders, or interesting auctions of rare, exotic or humorously mis-priced items. But I don't think its is appropriate for members to post ads for odds and ends that are listed on Ebay.

One mans odd and ends are anothers treasures. I don't make the judgement. There are enough guys here who seem to be able to work wonders with "junk", so I posted some junk. If its of no interest, then, folk can ignore it. Apologies if I've wasted anyone's time. Jut for the record, its not my junk or anyone remotely related to me.

Yes I did once, a Zorki 1b for $30 [I was the lone bidder] that I knew needs a CLA, sent it to Oleg along with other stuff for sprucing. Works great now!

Good info to know.

These ISOLDIT outfits are apparently some kind of loose franchise arrangement. Really seem to basically be independent sellers who I guess pay a small fee to get a "brand name" with a logo etc.

As G-man has apparently found out, you cannot go by the franchise name as any assurance of quality.
