Just got this in email and thought it worth passing along. Not mine, no financial interest, etc.

It is at B&H. I hope that they actually include a $250 rebate with it.

Sorry my bad. If you can believe it, I just got back from the eye doctor this morning and my eyes are still dilated, hard to read. That's my excuse!

Adorama had a similar deal two or three years back when I bought my Pixma-Pro 100. If memory serves, the printer was marked down in price, and I also got a $250.00 VISA gift card along with the 50 sheet pack of 13X19 Canon printer paper. I do remember that my out-of-pocket cost was $50.00. Good deal on a good printer.

I’m 100% happy with my Pixma Pro 100. A great color printer that does a good job with B&W too. Canon offers a nice selection of papers as do other third-party manufacturers like Moab, Red River, etc. It’s reasonably frugal when it comes to ink consumption. It is a large, heavy printer that requires some major space. Big plus in that it’s wireless, so can be put in adjoining room if necessary. Several prints I’ve made from this printer have won contests at our local Arts Council.

I have placed on order for this printer. Hopefully, the rebate will be given.

It goes on sale with rebate every few months for this price, usually with a 50pack of Lustre paper. No complaints about the printer, works great, nothing touches it for under $500.
It's a little annoying if you want to do full bleed on larger art papers, but there are work arounds.
Also worth noting that it's cheaper to buy another printer on rebate for the ink than to replace your ink cartridges.

What is the cost of the ink? $125 per pack?
