HU: for 40mm filter seekers

The prices are interesting. Too cheap, but given this size is a pain to find, hey, it may be cheaper than a lens cap.

I know that a couple of members have reported buying these in the past. As far I remember, they are Marumi filters so although not the best the quality they are not bad. I think they are 40.5 mm ones with a slightly cut down filter thread so are just a tad larger than the Canon lenses.

I don't think they are rejects but they probably use the same frame size and cut a different thread on them. Brian Sweeney had some and said the "glass was OK" http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17167&page=2&pp=20&highlight=filter

Not quite B+W but a lot cheaper.

HU: for 40mm filter seekers

I bought one 40mm, too, a month or so ago...I believe it was a Kenko and I put it on a Canon 50/1.8 lens, where it fit ok...I also got a couple of 40.5mm filters for a couple of Jupiter lenses and they also fit fine...All were new and were not very expensive and arrived quickly...regards, bob cole
