I noticed the shipping fee, with insurance required is $10 domestic for a piece that weighs 1.8oz (51 gr.). Then I noticed the address in LA, and that explained at least part of it. NY and CA do have a high standard of living.
Wonder what he'd charge to send an F-1n with the full metal motor drive? Naaa.
The guys who designed that case never took the rubbing of lens/finder in consideration. You were supposed to firmly seat both in the case, I guess, and never move them about. Mine also has some abrasion, not nearly as much as this one.
